Learning any new language can be challenging but it does become easier if you have enthusiasm for what you are trying to achieve. Irrespective of the fact that it might be easy to learn the language, but never take an easy-going attitude, or else you would not land anywhere. If speaking Spanish is your ambition, there are various ways in which you can go about it: firstly, colleges and universities offer Spanish language classes thinking that it might be very beneficial for the students, and actually it is. If you think you are too old to enroll yourself and be classmates with a bunch of teenagers well, then you can always apply for their language programs. As per my understanding there are various crash courses, which are offered by school during summer breaks.

Some corporate houses also offer courses, which enable you to speak Spanish, and these companies also offer you a job soon after finishing the program. Aside from that, you’ll see lots of dictionaries in bookshops that could really help you if you have no time to attend a class. You could also avail several self-help books, which contain Spanish phrases and sentences with simultaneous English translations written at the bottom. The Internet could also come to your rescue as Google and Yahoo offer lots of free tutorials. Fortunately, speaking Spanish is more about learning phonetically so it isn’t just about reading books on the subject Thanks to the Internet, today web casts and pod casts can offer great help to you to listen to the language, and some sites are gracious enough to allow you to download it, so all you need to do is type and there you are!
Yet it is far simpler to learn a language if you listen to it so do not depend too much on books as there are plenty of materials for you to listen and watch, like songs, movies and tele-novels. Looking at pictures is a great help, and when you learn a Spanish word, you would ever forget its meaning if you know what it looks like. If you have lots of money, go, travel and explore because there’s no other fun and exciting way to learn a new language but to really experience it by interacting with the people who really speaks it. Once you get closer to the people, their culture and ethos, you would be speaking Spanish in the quickest possible way.
Just remember never to put too much pressure on your self, as it would only delay your learning process. Remember not just say the words when you are speaking Spanish but to use an accent as well - it will improve the sound. It’s a big no-no and you will just sound funny if you do that but do not be afraid of making mistakes because when you are a beginner, what do you expect? Learning is a non-stop affair throughout your life and languages can be part of this process so if you treat it as fun, you are likely to at least enjoy yourself while you are studying.
